I dreamt I was invited to a fellowship meeting at my friend's house. In the dream for some unknown reason I was walking there instead of going in a car. As I approached her house I noticed a huge beautiful "fruit" tree growing in the middle of her front yard. As I walked up to it I realized by the "Spirit" this was the "tree of life.

I began to say out loud, "Oh my God!!" This is the tree of life! Why isn't there anyone out here partaking of it's fruit?

Being no one responded, I proceeded to enter into her house. When I got inside, I saw just about everyone I have ever known in the Body of Christ the last 30 years of my salvation. They were all over the place sharing, talking about their families, and their jobs. Their marriages, their finances, etc. Some were complaining, some were bragging, some were flaunting their high place in ministries, others were in total confusion and despair. Everywhere I turned to look or listen all I heard was a lot of pride, and a lot of self exaltation, a lot of murmuring and complaining. All they discussed was what what happening to the "body" and nothing about the "head of the body, Jesus Christ." They were totally consumed with all the cares of this life and the flesh.

When I realized there was no communication between me and those who were there, I proceeded to leave. As I began to walk away I became very aware of the fact that I needed to get to the nearest train station I could find for I needed to catch the next available train. I had no understanding where I was going, but I knew I had to wait for that train

As I continued to walk I ran across another "Christian," who immediately said to me: "Marian, have you been to the fellowship meeting"? I responded, "yes" I was there, but I left because there was no communication between me and them. Not one person was aware of the tree of life, they had no knowledge of it or even the desire to approach it. I told them I was very dissappointed and just wanted to catch the train and leave. With that, this other Christian responded by saying, "I understand exactly how you feel, but we must go back and tell them and warn them for they need to know the truth." So the two of us together began to walk back to my friends house.

As we approached, once again my heart was moved by the "tree of life" that just stood there, with no one taking any heed to it's existence or partaking of it's fruit. That was how the dream ended.

Here is the interpretation the Lord gave me!

Most likey most of you have already discerned what the Lord was trying to show me. It is self evident in the course of this dream. The Body of Christ has become so caught up with all their own agendas, and problems, dissappointments, etc, that they have lost sight of answer, which is Christ Jesus and His word. They have become so immersed in their own circumstances whether good or bad and have left their first love and the desire to partake of that love.

The Tree of Life which is "Christ Jesus," stands alone with all of its fruit ripe for the picking, and yet no one is partaking of it. At least not as many as should be. We have been running to and fro looking for answers everywhere but in "Him". We have lost our focus. We have begun to look upon the things of the flesh more than the spirit. We have stopped eating of its fruit, we need to come back to our "first love." For He is the one who has all the "answers." He is the one who can "heal and set free." He is the only one who can fill every void, and empty place in our hearts and souls. He is the only one who can remove all the fear and the guilt and shame that the enemy lies to the child of God with. He is the only One who can bring peace to our troubled mnds.

When we come to Him and partake of His fruit, we become transformed and become one with Him. We no longer depend upon our natural abilities or strength to obtain the victory. We come to that place where we just cease from our own works and enter into His rest. Even if things don't go as we would desire them to.

Sometimes it may not look like we are ever going to obtain the victory. Sometimes it may look like there is no answer to our problem, but that is the lie of the enemy. As long as we are partaking of the "tree of life," and eating of its fruit, everything we have need of will eventually fall in place. What we need to do is continually feast upon Christ and partake of His "fruit." We need to as the Scripture says, "put off every weight and sin that would so easily beset or (disturb or hinder) us. We ned to lay it all down at Christ's feet and let go of all the different things that would hinder us from obtaining oneness with Christ such as guilt, shame, unforgiveness, resentment, fear, etc, and a whole host of other emotions and attitudes which will hinder us from that place of victory in Christ.

We need to come back to the "tree of life," and begin to eat of its fruit again. Knowing that everything we have need of is found in our relationship with "Christ Jesus." For He is the answer to everything we go through. The Scripture says that we should " press towards the mark for the prize of the Hight Calling of God in Christ Jesus." The prize is to apprehend Christ. To become totally one with Him.

To Know Him, the fellowship of His sufferings, the power of HIs resurrection an to be made conformable to His death. The prize isn't to become the greatest parent, or minister, to have the best job or even the best family situation. It is not contigent upon us not having trials or tribulations. Even though there is nothing wrong in having all these blessings. But the truth of the matter is the "Prize" is to have apprehended Christ. To become one with Him. To acquire life where it is not longer us that live, but Christ that lives through us. Living a life that is totally surrendered to His will here on earth. A life that is no longer our own, but a life where Christ can live through us. This can only be obtained by our partaking of the Tree of Life which is in Christ Jesus. Everything we have need of is found in Him.

So come to the "Tree" today and partake of it's fruit. Remember, when answers aren't enough, there is Jesus. He is more than just an answer to a prayer!! HE is "THE ANSWER" to all of life's problems!!
