All Is Forgiven

There is someone praying for you. They are praying for the Spirit of God to lead you back home to His safety and His protection. They are praying for you to come to your senses and to go home to the loved ones waiting for you. Whether you are a prodigal spouse or a prodigal child there is a heart crying out to the Lord for you to see His face and to turn to Him and to begin to walk on the road that will lead you home to God and to those who love you.

I am glad that you have found this page. My hope is that in that place where you are in your heart, no matter how scared, lonely, or unworthy you feel you will know you are loved. Loved by God and loved by family and friends. We have prayed for you and we are trusting the Good Shepherd to bring home His lost sheep as He has promised. He loves you with an everlasting love and no matter how dark your darkness is, no matter how far you have gone from Him you can look up and know the Lord is waiting with open arms to receive you.

Maybe you have turned away from God and in doing that you turned away from your spouse, your family or even your friends. You have decided that it is time to move on and maybe find another woman, get another family and find friends who will not talk about Jesus to you.

My friend if this is you than please know who it is who has put those thoughts into your heart, who it is who comes to steal, kill and destroy everything good that the Lord has given you. Satan's army wants you to turn from Jesus, he wants you to turn from your spouse, he wants you to walk into the darkness where you find immediate satisfaction for your flesh. The Word of God says he comes to take you captive and to cause your will to do his will, BUT GOD will and can grant you repentance and turn your mind back to serving Him.

Thankfully, all you have to do is turn to Him. No matter what you have done, no matter where you have been, no matter what your thoughts are telling you, there is hope in Jesus Christ. There is forgiveness and there is grace and mercy that abounds for you and for me at all times. Open your heart to receive His word and to trust Him once again, or maybe for some of you for the first time. Jesus is the one who brings unity and wholeness to our lives. He does not tear down, He does not break things up but He is an expert at putting things back together.

Take time to read the parable of the Prodigal Son right now and in your heart know that Jesus is speaking to you and run home to His house and to His arms this day.

The Parable of the Lost Son

Luke 15:11-32

" Then He said: "A certain man had two sons. And the younger of them said to his father, "Father, give me the portion of goods that falls to me.' So he divided to them his livelihood.

And not many days after, the younger son gathered all together, journeyed to a far country, and there wasted his possessions with prodigal living. But when he had spent all, there arose a severe famine in that land, and he began to be in want. Then he went and joined himself to a citizen of that country, and he sent him into his fields to feed swine. And he would gladly have filled his stomach with the pods that the swine ate, and no one gave him anything.

"But when he came to himself, he said, "How many of my father's hired servants have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger! I will arise and go to my father, and will say to him, "Father, I have sinned against heaven and before you, and I am no longer worthy to be called your son. Make me like one of your hired servants."

"And he arose and came to his father. But when he was still a great way off, his father saw him and had compassion, and ran and fell on his neck and kissed him. And the son said to him, "Father, I have sinned against heaven and in your sight, and am no longer worthy to be called your son."

"But the father said to his servants, "Bring out the best robe and put it on him, and put a ring on his hand and sandals on his feet. And bring the fatted calf here and kill it, and let us eat and be merry; for this my son was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.' And they began to be merry.

"Now his older son was in the field. And as he came and drew near to the house, he heard music and dancing. So he called one of the servants and asked what these things meant. And he said to him, "Your brother has come, and because he has received him safe and sound, your father has killed the fatted calf."

"But he was angry and would not go in. Therefore his father came out and pleaded with him. So he answered and said to his father, "Lo, these many years I have been serving you; I never transgressed your commandment at any time; and yet you never gave me a young goat, that I might make merry with my friends. But as soon as this son of yours came, who has devoured your livelihood with harlots, you killed the fatted calf for him."

And he said to him, "Son, you are always with me, and all that I have is yours. It was right that we should make merry and be glad, for your brother was dead and is alive again, and was lost and is found."

Just like the Prodigal son in this parable that Jesus taught us, you can turn around and go home to your Heavenly Father. He is waiting to clothe you with the robes of righteousness that He made for us through Jesus Christ. Our God is a loving, good God and He knows everything about us yet still loves us. He is calling you to come home to Him, He is waiting and He sees you even while you are still a long way off. Hear His voice and hear the heart cry of your loved ones as you read this poem.

Come Home

by Pat Couchman

You are out there somewhere I know
Wondering in your mind where to go
Sitting there in a place, feeling lost and alone
Wondering if you can take the step back home

What has been done in the past is over now
It is time to move forward but you don't know how
You think can I really be forgiven?
Can I really go home
To the God that loves me and the ones I left all alone

I want you to know your loved ones
are waiting for you
Holding you up in prayer for all you need to do
Be strong and listen to the voice that you hear
For Jesus is calling to you to give Him your cares

Our Father is watching, waiting for you,
Do not be afraid, His love has been poured out for you
Through the blood of Jesus there is forgiveness for you and me
With a life of love, mercy and goodness, a life of eternity

All is forgiven come home
No longer does your heart have to roam
For there is waiting for you a perfect love
Given to us from Our Lord above

We are waiting with Our Father watching the road
With open arms and Our Father's heavenly robe
To clothe you with righteousness, joy and peace
All is forgiven you can come home and be free.
