Not One Drop!

Lord I look at your cross and I see
The blood you shed that day for me
I look at myself and in my heart I can see
Not one drop of Your Blood am I worthy to receive

Lord You body was broken, pierced through and through
BLood dripped everywhere as they crucified You
I see myself standing there at the foot of the cross
Weeping, for I know without Your sacrifice I am lost

But oh such pain, such suffering you bore for me
Not a second thought about dying for me to be free
I see one drop of blood falling to the ground
And I only see me there is no one else around

My heart breaks for I know it is for my sin you died
For my shame, my sorrow, my hurts you were crucified
My mistakes, my words, my heart that grows cold
Oh that one drop of blood is creating a new me from the old

Jesus this day I know within the deepest parts of me
That even one drop I am not worthy to receive
But by faith in You, I receive you amazing love
By faith in You I turn to Our Father above

For that one drop of blood is cleansing me
Sanctifying, purifying, justifying, setting me free
There are no words to express the gratefulness of my heart
For without You My Lord my life would be torn apart

That one drop of blood covers me this day
It has washed all of my sin and shame away
And though I am not worthy You alone give the grace
To cause us to stand in faith and seek Your face

Lord don't let me ever forget that one drop of blood
Let Your river of life flow through me like a flood
Lift me up Lord to dwell in you each and every day
To abide in your word for that is where I must stay.

I stand here now covered by Your blood shed for me
Take up my cross and follow You into eternity
I stand in faith trusting You with all that concerns me
Knowing that One drop of blood was shed for me

One drop, One drop, Oh Lord I can see
For the joy set before You, You went to Calvary
I am part of that joy, I am bound to You as one
And may the day come when I hear You say, "Well done."

And if there is a crown waiting for me in eternity
Be assured Lord I will lay that crown at your feet
For You alone are worthy to receive
All praise and honor as we bow before thee

Whatever I am able to accomplish for You
I know it is only part of the debt You are due
For it is a little thing to offer our lives to You
For the price you paid could never be repaid to You.

So Lord in humility and faith I offer my heart to You
And say Lord Your will be done in all that I do
Let me never forget where You have taken me from
With one drop of Your blood You declared "it is done."

Thank You Father for sending Your Son
Thank You Lord God for making us One
Thank You Jesus for all You continue to do
Thank You Holy Spirit for filling us through and through.
