Does He Really Love You!

You may think He doesn't love you
Because of all you have gone through
But did you ever wonder
Did Jesus feel that way too?

When He was in the garden weeping
With sweat upon His brow
Did He wonder to Himself
If His Father would bring Him through somehow?

As He stood before the council
Mocked and beaten for no reason
Did He cry out to the Father
You know I really don't like this season

As He walked the hill to Calvary
Knowing He would die
Did He stop and say My Father
Why are You letting Me die?

As He took His last breath
And cried out It Is Finished
Did He wonder what would happen
If He really would be risen?
.

Now I know we are not Jesus
But conformed to Him we must be
So let us lay down our questions
And trust in the One we can believe

For truly Jesus did die and rise again
Just as it was prophesied
For you, the joy set before Him
He was more than willing to die

And now we have the opportunity
Through His grace and mercy too
To live a life of faith and hope
Trusting God in all we walk through

For though the road may be narrow
And we cannot see tomorrow
We can know God has a perfect plan
Through all our pain and sorrow

For there is a joy set before us too
Souls just waiting to know Jesus too
Streets of gold and no more tears
Peace and love and no more fears

So when you wonder if God really loves you
There is only one thing you have to do
Think about Jesus, the blood He shed for you
And the road He was willing to walk for you.

He is acquainted with your sorrows and grief
His heart was broken for you and me
He walked a path we can't even imagine
That we may be free and totally forgiven

This love my friend would never give up on you
It's perfect love that promises to carry us through
No matter what life or the enemy brings our way
Through Jesus Christ, the Son of God, we will find our way.

So if circumstances cause you to question His love
Rest in His Word and know we are seated in heavenly places above
Looking at the cares of this world through His eyes of faith
Overcoming and believing through His amazing grace

For if He didn't love you, you would not know His name
Your life would not have changed never to be the same
He chose you and loved you and leads your way
No other love could ever pay the price He was willing to pay.
