All About Me

I love to write poems and I realize the value of words that we speak and write. Words are very powerful and to be able to bless someone with our words helps to instill love in the heart and memories to all who read or hear.

My very first personalized poem was written for my daughter and my son-in-law on their wedding day. The individual poems written for both of them hung on the wall in their home for years. It is now a treasured keepsake packed away with their other wedding memories that will pass down through generations.

Since then I have written poems for all occasions, usually seeing tears in the recipient and the guests eyes. My poetry is posted on numerous websites, especially the poem I wrote about September 11........"A Time of Amazing Grace."

This poem is very close to my heart because my brother died that week, not in the Towers, but of cancer. He lived in New York and I was unable to get there before His death due to the limitations with air traffic. The night I received the phone call of his death, I was filled with the grace of God and sat down and put into words all that was going through my heart as America attempted to begin to put the pieces back together.

My passion is Christian poetry. I hope you will stop by and read some of the poems about the love of my life, Jesus Christ. I thank Him for the gift He has given me and my prayer is to do all I do as if I am doing it unto Him.
